The Hartt School is pleased to announce its thrilling roster of artists for the 2011-2012 Richard P. Garmany Chamber Music Series. The 2011-2012 season continues with jazz and world-music violinist superstar Regina Carter; ventures into exciting new territory with ECCO (East Coast Chamber Orchestra); and concludes with the acclaimed Carter Brey, cello, and Christopher O'Riley, piano.

This wonderful event will feature some of the finest classical instrumental soloists in The Hartt School. An Evening of Concertos showcases four concerto competition winners from the 2011–2012 season. Accompanied by the Hartt Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra.

Thomas Pasatieri’s The Hotel Casablanca

Thursday through Saturday • February 2-4 • 7:30pm

Sunday • February 5 • 3:00pm

The vocal division is honored to welcome renowned composer Thomas Pasatieri. The Hotel Casablanca is a comic tale of love, guns, and mistaken identity deep in the heart of 1940s Texas. This New England premiere is conducted by Doris Lang Kosloff and directed by Ron Luchsinger.
