Hartts Got Talent
Hartt's Got Talent is an exciting and unique collaboration with Hartford Public Access Television (HPATV). Featuring interviews and performance segments, Hartt's Got Talent spotlights dynamic and talented Hartt faculty, students, and alumni from all areas of The Hartt School.
The program is broadcast on channel 95, the Education Access Channel, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 12:00 PM (noon), and on Wednesdays and Sundays at 7:00 PM. The series continues with new profiles and performances throughout the year during each of HPATV's four thirteen-week seasons. All episodes also are available for viewing on Hartt's web site after they air.

Episode 1 - February, 2010: The series preview, this special episode for Black History Month featured second year Hartt student Nelson Ebo, tenor, from Angola. Nelson's inspirational story is one of triumph in the face of adversity, and his vocal gift has been acknowledged by opera legends Placido Domingo and Marilyn Horne.
Episode 2 - March, 2010: The series officially kicked off in March, 2010, with an exciting interview with and two performances by Hartt's renowned jazz bass faculty member Nat Reeves and students of Hartt's Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz; Josh Bruneau, a senior trumpet player from Waterbury, VT; and Jonathan Barber, a junior trumpeter from Windsor, CT.Episode 3 - April, 2010: The series continued with interviews with Hartt's new Dance Division Director Stephen Pier and long-time member of the Hartt Dance Division faculty Hilda Morales, and a preview of the Spring 2010 Hartt Dances concert, featuring performance excerpts from the final dress rehearsal.Episode 4 - May, 2010: This episode previews Hartt's performance of Benjamin Britten's massive War Requiem at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford, and features an interview with Hartt Symphony Orchestra director/conductor Christopher Zimmerman. The War Requiem was performed by more than 400 singers and instrumentalists - all Hartt's choruses, the Hartt Symphony Orchestra, the Hartford Chorale, and members of the Cathedral Choir. Episode 5 - August, 2010: This episode features an interview with Hilary Respass, the new Director of The Hartt School Community Division; a violin duet performed in-studio by Anny Li and Luke Piscitelli, students of Teri Einfeldt; an in-studio performance by Jessica Rost, a 15-year old soprano, a student of Nancy Andersen; and footage from an adult tap dancing class, lead by instructor Darlene Zoller.
