Mihai Tetel
Associate Professor of Cello
Why I Chose Hartt?
I love working at The Hartt School mostly because of the quality of the interraction I have with my colleagues, the students, and the wonderful staff. I have studied and taught at several institutions over the last three decades, and have found the ambiance at Hartt to be the most conducive to productive work. Un-stuffy, un-pretentious, down-to-earth, fun, are words that come to mind when I think of Hartt. I am in the building seven days a week, practicing, teaching, rehearsing, socializing, attending performances, and enjoy every minute of it. The chemistry among the Hartt family of students, faculty, and staff is unique, and that makes this place special.
