Welcome to The Hartt School Community Division. The Community Division offers a variety of opportunities in music and dance for students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Students may choose among a number of options, from private music instruction and dance classes to large performing ensembles and chamber music. Our First Steps classes for young children provide an early start in the arts. Adults are welcome, whether they wish to take dance classes, continue study on their instruments, reacquaint themselves with long-dormant talents, or start anew. Our students hone their skills not only in lessons and classes, but also through a multitude of performance opportunities. The Community Division offers something for all to enrich their lives by participating in the arts.

The Hartt Community Division is a non-profit community school of the arts, a Division of The Hartt School at the University of Hartford.
