Hartt Community Division Advisory Board
The Hartt Community Division Advisory Board provides service and support to the Community Division in its ongoing efforts to be a school that delivers the highest quality performing arts instruction within a nurturing and vibrant community. The Advisory Board focuses on initiatives and projects related to (a) fundraising for financial aid and special projects, (b) promotion and recruiting, and (c) community-building.
In addition, the Board provides advice and feedback to the Community Division Director on programmatic and administrative issues. Members either volunteer or are nominated and elected to serve on the Board for a term of two years. Advisory Board members are asked to participate at whatever level possible and membership is renewable and encouraged!
2011-2012 Advisory Board Activities and Initiatives
- October 2011 Hartt Gala silent and live auction committee
- May 2012 Fund for Access benefit concert featuring violinist Sirena Huang and Opus 89
- June 2012 Hartt Community Division Ensemble Audition Festival, a day of auditions and school promotion
