Adult Programs

The Community Division offers adults lots of ways to enjoy the pleasures of music and dance.

Whether you’re reconnecting to a passion first felt as a child, or diving into something new, the Hartt Community Division (HCD) has the classes, workshops, ensembles, and lessons that will enrich your life every day.

Students of any age can take private music lessons, as well as seasonal workshops on various elements of music technique. Musical groups include our Adult Chamber Choir, Celesti Sondato, and chamber music.

In dance, we offer classes in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, Preparacion Fisica, and hip hop in our Open Program. Classes are available as walk-ins--and you can try a class for free to see if you love it as much as we think you will! We also hold seasonal workshops in elements of dance technique .

No matter what your age or experience, music and dance will be deeply satisfying at HCD.
