Summer 2011 Adult Chamber Music Program

The 2011 Summer Adult Chamber Music Program will run between June 20 and mid-August. Participants will receive a set number of coachings from Community Division faculty and have the opportunity to perform on a recital in August. Rehearsals will take place at The Hartt School or at a location of the participants' choice and at their mutual availability. All coachings will take place at The Hartt School. Two coaching options are available for the program.
Program Options
Four 60-Minute Coachings
$80 for Hartt Community Division Private Lesson Students
$105 for all others
Six 60-Minute Coachings
$120 for Hartt Community Division Private Lesson Students
$157.50 for all others

We are happy to announce that we can also offer a 15% discount off tuition (not including the registration fee) for current dues-paying member of the ACMP (subject to confirmation by the ACMP). See their
website for details on becoming a member.
Participants should discuss scheduling with the coach to assure that the desired number of coachings will be feasible for all members of the group.
All participants must register before the first coaching. Please submit a registration form only after receiving a group assignment.
Formation of Groups
Formation of groups will stress compatibility in musical preferences, level of proficiency, and individual goals with regard to the program. These factors will be assessed in an interview with a faculty member and the program coordinator. Once optimal groups have been formed, appropriate repertoire will be assigned, taking into consideration the input of group members.
Pre-set groups are welcome as well.
Interviews will take place June 16-18. Contact Jordan Jacobson directly at
jojacobso@hartford.edu or (860) 768-4451 to schedule a time.
Registration forms will be available at the interview.
Recital
The program culminates in a recital in August. The recital is not mandatory but strongly encouraged.
