Dance Programs at The Hartt Community Division

Our Dance Department offers a wide range of classes of varied interest and ability levels for ages three and up. Classes, taught by our dedicated, experienced faculty, are held in beautiful, spacious studios located in Hartford and Simsbury.

For young children, we offer Discovery (creative movement), Children's Ballet and Tiny Tap. Youth and teen dancers can participate inballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and modern dance programs. Our Intensive Ballet program is designed for serious dancers who are seeking rigorous pre-professional training. See our summer programs page for information on summer dance programs.

We offer classes for adults as well, for beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, and modern.
