Summer Programs
Join us at the Hartt Community Division for a variety of summer music and dance programs.
While many of our most popular programs remain, we are currently redesigning some of our summer music and dance programs. Please check back for updates on many of our music and dance summer programs.
The Summer Vocal Institute: Musical Theater Intensive is a personalized performance program for singers, actors, and dancers who want to improve their vocal, dramatic, and dance skills.
The Hartt Suzuki Institute includes classes for both students and teachers. Students will experience focused study on their instrument, while teachers will study the repertory, philosophy, and methods introduced by the respected Japanese educator Shinichi Suzuki. All teacher workshop courses are taught by specialists who are registered teacher trainers with the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA). Applicants who qualify as participants, complete required observations, and attend all sessions will be able to register these courses with the SAA .
The David Einfeldt Chamber Music Seminar is an intensive residential summer music experience offering a dynamic combination of individual lessons, coachings, masterclasses, instrumental ensembles, orchestra, and rehearsals with our quartet in residence, The Fry Street Quartet, and our outstanding string faculty.
Our summer dance courses are also available for a wide range of students. From Studio to Stage is designed to train serious young dancers, ages 10 and up, with a foundation in solid ballet technique.
Please consider joining us for one of our engaging summer programs.
