Roger Murtha Retirement Celebration with the American Brass Quintet
Please come and help us celebrate the retirement of long-time Hartt School trumpet teacher Roger Murtha. Joining the Hartt Wind Ensemble is the American Brass Quintet, featuring one of Roger's former students, Raymond Mase, and Hartt's current trumpet teacher Kevin Cobb, performing Ewazen's Shadowcatcher. Also on the program are world premier tribute fanfares written by Hartt composition faculty and our new Dean, Aaron Flagg as trumpet soloist in Evensong. This will truly be an extraordinary evening of music making.
