Amy Lesko
Artist Teacher; Coordinator of the Hartt Dance Division

Biography: Amy is in her 10th year as Coordinator of the Hartt Dance Division at the University of Hartford. She received her BFA in Dance Performance in 1998 where she had the wonderful opportunity to work with teachers such as Enid Lynn, Peggy Lyman, Alla Osipenko, Kirk Peterson, Franco DeVita, Raymond Lukens, Maria Youskevitch, and Shao-Pen Wang. After graduating Ms. Lesko went on to perform with the Hartford Ballet Company. While with the Hartford Ballet she performed works by Martha Graham, George Balanchine, Peggy Lyman, Jean Grand-Maitre, Kathryn Posin, and Michael Uthoff, and had the opportunity to perform at the Kennedy Center, at the Hollywood Bowl, and throughout Brazil. Ms. Lesko Holds a Masters degree in Education and currently has the pleasure of teaching Dance Pedagogy for talented Pedagogy majors of the Hartt Dance Division.
