Nina Watt toured internationally with the Limón Dance Company from 1972-2001, serving as Artistic Associate from 1992-2006. She danced major roles by over 25 choreographers, including two solos made for her by Alwin Nikolais and Doug Varone.  Her career included two State Department sponsored tours and a 1995 White House performance. Critically cited as "the perfect Limón dancer," "a dancer of genius" and "one of the most important modern dancers of her generation," Ms. Watt is a 2002 recipient of the New York Dance and Performance Award for Sustained Achievement. She teaches technique and stages Limón repertory worldwide, and is currently Assistant Professor at The Hartt School. She holds a BA from State University of New York, Empire State College and is a Certified Movement Analyst through the Integrated Movement Studies Program.
