
As part of her residency at the University of Hartford, exploring collaborations in the arts and relationships between words and music, world renowned flutist Eugenia Zukerman hosts a concert featuring four new works created by student teams of poets, composers, and actor-narrators from the College of Arts and Sciences (poets) and The Hartt School (composers and actor-narrators). Each team has created a completely new cross-disciplinary piece. The poets' original works will be recited by the actors, with original accompanying scores of the composers performed by Hartt student musicians.
The four teams are:

#2 Poet: Amber LaPointe; Composer: Erica Bryan;Narrator; Ilana Moskowitz
#3 Poet: Sarah Ortlieb; Composer: Noah Kaufman; Narrator: Gabrielle Van Horn
#4 Poet: Tim Pettus; Composer: Josh Pettus; Narrator: Tim Zayas
Ms. Zukerman will host the event and is scheduled to perform in one of pieces.
The concert is Thursday, March 3, at 8 PM in Berkman Recital Hall, Fuller Music Center, The Hartt School, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT. Admission is free, but seating is limited. |
