Hartt doctoral student Krystian Tkaczewski is Artistic Director and President of Jury of the Chopin International Piano Competition taking place here in Hartford this month, which features an international panel of judges and competitors from around the US and several other countries.  Special concerts will take place on March 5 and 6 as part of the event.  Hartt Professor Ira Braus will provide a special introduction at one of the concerts.  For details about the exciting competition and concerts, visit www.chopincompetition.org.
