More than 220 attendees received instruction from Dr. Haston on how to appropriately implement modeling strategies in instrumental rehearsals. The Conference is the largest of its kind in the United States, and Dr. Haston's session was in support of his pedagogical DVD, "Modeling for Band: Efficient Teaching and Authentic Learning," published by GIA Publications, Inc."
