Work with the Amidons was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. They broke down every dance and activity so that it was easy for us to learn and easy for us to teach our children. I wouldn't think twice about taking this class again; it was amazing.

The efforts of every participant were validated. We were, indeed, a wonderful "learning community" for a week. One of the highlights of the class for me was being able to listen to the other students play and then listen to the instructor's suggestions on how they may improve their playing.
This is the second year I have taken this workshop and it continues to be unbelievably helpful in my growth as both a musician and a conductor. Professors Adsit and Haithcock knew exactly how to analyze where each student needed help in their conducting and were able to explain and demonstrate exactly how to move to the next level.
I was highly impressed with this workshop. I did take it only on the observer track because I honestly did not know what to expect since I have not taken any courses from Hartt before. I am probably going to be taking this course again next year for credit.
I came to this class with limited knowledge of world percussion, and virtually no experience with drum set. I never would have believed that I could have learned so much in just one week! Mr. Toth is an amazing player and also a very gifted teacher. His logical step-by-step approach to teaching makes even difficult material very accessible. I highly recommend this class!
I had a terrific experience and would recommend the course to my colleagues. Professor Toth is such a versatile musician, and has given me many ideas on how to engage more thoroughly my middle school percussionists.

I found the Choral Conducting workshop to be EXTREMELY valuable. Both instructors gave tons of information on conducting technique and vocal pedagogy. They were always professional, honest, and critical yet encouraging. They provided us with an incredible packet of quality material, and the assignments we had led to even more resources we can use in our daily practice.
Sightreading was never one of my strong suites but due to a small class and the effectiveness of the instructor I have increased my ability 10 fold. I am now a much stronger and more confident reader. We love Gabor!
Jeff is an amazing teacher! I really enjoyed being part of this class and learning so much about the origins of American Fold Music.
